The story about one place in Rome 'the Mouth of Truth'.

 

In medieval period it used for checking true or no speaking human. Need to put hand in the mouth. If not true hand was blocked.

 

In Italy our guide told ancient story to us about 'The Mouth Of Truth'.

One woman have to pass test by the mouth concerning her faithfulness. But there was problem she had a lover.

Lover and she made the following.

Lover was dressed as monk. And when woman and her husband was going along some street the monk came running to her and kissed. After that she came in to the mouth put in her hand and said: 'For all my life I was kissed only by my husband and these monk'.

There're a lot of mistakes in this sentence. We never say "don't can", only "can't".

 

It should be: "Speak slowly, please. I can't understand you very well."
