A little elf

Sat in a tree

Painting leaves

To throw at me.

Leaves of yellow

And leaves of red

Came tumbling down

About my head.

Reading for everybody:

John and David were both patients in a Mental Hospital. One day John suddenly dived

into the swimming pool. Knowing that Jack couldn’t swim David threw himself into

the water and saved his friend. :)

The doctor didn’t think long. He immediately ordered David to be discharged from

the hospital as he was OK.

He said, “We have good news and bad news for you, David. The good news is that we’re

going to discharge you because you’ve regained your mind. If you’re able to save

somebody’s life, you’re a normal person. The bad news is that John, whom you’ve just saved, hung himself in the toilet and died.”

“Doctor, he didn’t hang himself,” David answered, “I hung him there to dry.”

No, Molly, the book isn't about victorian, but the character in chains looks like him.

Lady LG, are you sure he is in chains, not in handcuffs?

It's Teacher's Day tomorrow. How are you going to celebrate it?

Some jokes about teachers and students:

1. PUPIL: I haven’t done my homework because I’ve lost my memory.

TEACHER: When did this start ?

PUPIL: When did WHAT start ?

2. – What’s your father, Bobby?

- My father’s a school teacher.

- That’s a good profession. Does he like his job?

- Yes, he enjoys it. He has only one thing to complain about.

- What’s that?

- Oh, the children.

3. Teacher: Today we’re going to talk about the tenses.

Now, if I say, “I am beautiful,” which tense is it?

Pupil: Obviously past.

Dear friends, correct the mistakes in the sentence below, please.

Maybe it is "Ruslan and Ludmila" by A. S. Pushkin. Ruslan was talanted and well-educated, good singer and story-teller.

As for Ludmila she was illiterate one. She couldn`t read or write, she was just a cute pretty russian girl.

They'll eat and dance and kiss and drink,

And then in bath of champagne sink.

And in the morning she will ask:

"Where did i leave my skirt at dusk?"
