Molly Malone 4 448 Опубликовано 16 мая, 2011 Hi everybody, The English club seems to be expanding, that's cool. The more new members the better. Lady LG, answering your question about German...well, my German is not so fluent as English, but I adore it. It sounds like a melody for me like Italian for Самира To compare the two languages i can say that English for me is like a husband with whom i have been too long and already got used to it, and German is like a lover, so new, complicated and fascinating Lady LG, I demand more riddles!! I haven't been able to try to guess the right answer as i don't live at home now, i have moved to my country house for summer and there is no internet there. Some black humour from me for everyone: -Mommy, Mommy! I like my brother very much. -All right, you can take another slice. Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение

Lady LG 4 159 Опубликовано 16 мая, 2011 (изменено) VICTORIAN: You must have been present at the royal wedding.... How lucky you are! Did you take any other pictures? I'd like to have a look at the Queen and Prince Charles. As far as I know Elizabeth II is 85 and Charles is about 63. What are they like now? Molly Malone Girls, what do you think, who is more handsome, William or Harry? Of course William, he is a real gentleman. Lady LG, I demand more riddles!! No problem. Here's one more for you and everyone: "The police stopped a car. There were three people in the car: John, Ann and Mary. On the back seat there was a revolver. John said, "It's mine". Ann said, "It's hers". Mary said, "It's his". Nobody was telling the truth. Whose revolver was it?" Good luck and have fun! Lady LG 4 159 Опубликовано 17 мая, 2011 (изменено) Serdar! Glad to see you in our English Club! You are quite right. The revolver belonged to Ann. САМИРА: [/b] Congratulations!! Now, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't mind, I'd like to offer you a very interesting moral dilemma to solve. I like it very much: Imagine yourself driving a car on a wild stormy night. You pass a bus stop and see three people waiting for the bus: 1. An old lady who is about to die. 2.An old friend of yours who once saved your life. 3. The perfect girl (or boy) you have been dreaming about. Which one would you choose knowing that there could be ONLY ONE passenger in your car? That is a moral dilemma that was once actually used as part of job application. You could pick up the old lady because she's going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you can take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you will never be able to find your ideal dream lover again. Answers could vary depending on the personality. However, there is a perfect answer. Can you find it? (I couldn't) Good luck! See you! Изменено 17 мая, 2011 пользователем Lady LG Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение

Lady LG 4 159 Опубликовано 17 мая, 2011 gimini Дата 17.05.2011 - 23:17 Then is possible to send a friend with an old woman, and to wait a bus together with a dream? That's right, gimini! The answer is: "I'd give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the old lady to hospital and I would stay at the bus stop with the girl of my dream". Note: It is ........ Is it ......... ? He can.......... Can he ..........? Well, here's a more difficult one: Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson, Mrs Hudson and Inspector Lestrade took part in a pie-eating competition. They all ate fifty-eight pies. Holmes ate half as many pies as Watson, who in turn ate 2/3 of the amount eaten by Mrs Hudson. Lestrade ate 1/4 of the combined number of pies eaten by Mrs Hudson and Dr Watson. How many pies did each of them eat? Good luck and have fun! See you tomorrow. Good night!
