Lady LG 4 159 Опубликовано 11 мая, 2011 (изменено) Sincere ... and extremely advanced Sincere... Don't you see a bit of irony in my words? If you don't like me you can just ignore me. Many thanks for reasonable advice. I will. Nobody forces no one to talk with. A mistake: two negatives. Nobody forces anyone to talk with. Molly Malone 4 448 Опубликовано 13 мая, 2011 Lady LG, what kind of English do you prefer, American, British or perhaps...Russian? I am especially interested in the variety of accents. Auf wiedersehen! Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение
Lady LG 4 159 Опубликовано 13 мая, 2011 Dear Molly, Do you also know German? I don't, but I was able to understand the phrase "Auf wiedersehen!" What a clever young lady! But you must have mixed the languages. I prefer so called "Standard English" to American. As you know, it's used by the BBC announcers and taught in most schools and universities in Great Britain. It can be easily understood in any part of the English-speaking world. And I enjoy correct British pronunciation. It sounds like a song! Unfortunately, when I listen to myself in recording I never feel pleased. I realize that my accent is far from perfect in comparison with theirs. But it's a problem for most Russian speakers, isn't it? Самира, victorian, Molly and all the others! What about you? Join the discussion! Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение

My accent is far from perfect too, but anyway i'm glad it doesn't sound like cockney By the way, what do you need transcriptions for? Sorry, i sometimes mix up the languages. Can't help it...god damn german roots Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение
Самира 26 Опубликовано 13 мая, 2011 (изменено) hi ladies. I do not know anything about my own pronunciation (it is not perfect) I worked a lot with Italians, Germans, and Americans, they understood me. The first time it was very difficult for me to speak witn Americans , but I should to do it , on this conversation depended will employ me or not. I don't have big lexicon from usual life, as all my practise of speaking in English was on business - discussion of contracts, delivery of the goods, the account, and etc. I also know as everyone Russian language and I know the Azerbaijan language in perfection, know Turkish and Tatar languages but not so good as I want. I have started to study Italian , has studied 3 months , get a diploma of *Livello elementare* and finished to study Italian language, first because I do not have a time for it , I was already married. Unfortunately my teacher was a man and my husband jealous . The second reason was that the teacher constantly reminded me that It is not English and my accent should be another . When I communicated with Italians on telephone in Italian language they understood me,and my accent is not looks like on English accent (as it seemed to me ), unfortunately I had an English accent at the lesson. my history of studying of the Italian language has ended so sad Изменено 13 мая, 2011 пользователем Самира 8 925 532 10 10 Поделиться сообщением Ссылка на сообщение
