I’m not sure of the preposition “greedy about or greedy for?” Who can help me?

I noticed a very interesting thing. If I don't know the answer for sure and have no time to check it, I stop thinking about it and in an hour or two

the correct answer comes to my mind automatically. That's very nice. This time I remembered the short text containing "mean about."

     This is a story about the well-known millionaire, John D. Rockefeller, and it was told by a friend of his. The friend said that though Rockefeller gave away millions, Rockefeller himself was very mean about small sums of money. I should have guessed! Queen Elizabeth's father was George VI and the baby was named after his great-great- grandfather!

He's going to be George VII. A charming boy! His hair looks reddish...

Attentive reader might notice that Prince William did a terrible job working on the car seat harness. He must have missed the parenting classes at the hospital.

I wonder how anyone could be republican and democrat at the same time? I always thought that they are two opposing political parties...

Besides, when it comes to baby safety the prince should show a better example to the public. 

 

I am not being too serious about this car seat issue however there is already some noise in the press about this fact. 

 

"Few British media outlets seemed to notice the errors, instead focusing on how stylish Kate looked, or how effortlessly Prince William placed the car seat into the back of his Range Rover before getting behind the wheel to drive the family to Kensington Palace. But many parents on social media sites pointed out that the royal child did not appear safe at all."

'I hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are': Harry jokes about looking after his new nephew as he speaks of meeting him for the first time..

Speaking at the opening of the charity photo show he also admitting to having a lovely cuddle with the tiny baby boy who will one day probably be king.

 

The prince went to see the new family addition at Kensington Palace shortly after his brother and sister in law returned from hospital on Tuesday night.

 

As he spoke he gestured with his hands and described George as being 'about this long and that wide'.

 

'When I saw him he was crying, which is just like all babies,' he said.

 

'It's fantastic to have another addition to the family.

 

'I only hope my brother knows how expensive my baby sitting charges are!'
