Molly Malone 4 452 Опубликовано 29 июня, 2011 and what about tha favourite songs My favourite song is of course "Molly Malone" It's an old Irish song and the best performer of it is Sinead O Connor (if i spell the name right). I can't give a link here as my internet is very slow (i am at my country house), the youtube won't download. The beginning is: In Dublin's fair city Where the girls are so pretty I first laid my eyes on sweet Molly Malone. How she wheeled her wheelbarrow (Yes, I have a wheelbarrow!) Through the streets broad and narrow Crying "Cockles and Mussels! Alive, alive...oh" Do i sing good?

2011 Everyone is so active! That's very good!!! Let's sum up. For the present we have: 1. A puzzle: "Sherlock Holmes was questioning three men who had been witnesses to a murder: Mr Franks, Mr Richards and Mr Andrews. It was a funny thing but their first names were Richard, Frank and Andrew too. Holmes remarked to Mr Richards on this. "Yes, I noticed that as well," he replied. "But none of us have the first name that matches our surname. My first name is Andrew." Can you give the full name of all three witnesses?" (It's easy!) 2. A riddle: "What is grey, has four legs and a trunk?" (It's not an elephant) 3. Misprint 22. The text below contains a mistake where one letter in a word is wrong. For example, if the word should be CAT it is printed as CAB. SEARCH ABANDONED Police at Peebles yesterday called off a search for a 20-year-old woman who is believed to have frowned after falling into the swollen River Tweed. Belinda Ludbock had been receiving treatment for depression. 4. Guess the last word: "The English have no national ................................. " 5. Quotations. 6. Proverbs. 7. Songs. 8. The story "Natasha from Russia." Good night!

2011 4. Guess the last word: "The English have no national ................................. " Identity Do you mean "национальные особенности", Самира? I'm afraid your answer is wrong. The English have national identity, for example they're considered to be polite, reserved and self-disciplined.

2011 No, Molly! And what about fish and chips, lamb chops, roast beef, apple pie or Yorkshire pudding? These dishes are rather famous. Some help: I didn't say "The British" because Scottish, Welsh and Irish people have it. So do the Russians. 2. A riddle: "What is grey, has four legs and a trunk?" (It's not an elephant) Do you really know the answer? If you do, tell and explain it to everyone, please. I see it's difficult. One of my favourite songs in English is old but I still enjoy listening to it. It's "Woman In Love": "I am a woman in love And I'd do anything To get you into my world And hold you within. It's a right I defend Over and over again, What do I do." See you!

2011 And this is one of my favourite song - The Rolling Stones - "Anybody Seen My Baby" It`s quite philosophical thing. She confessed her love to me Then she vanished on the breeze Trying to hold on to that was just impossible She was more than beautiful Closer to ethereal With a kind of down to earth flavor Close my eyes, it's three in the afternoon Then I, I realize that she's really gone for good Anybody seen my baby Anybody seen her around Love has gone and made me blind I've looked but I just can't find She has gotten lost in the crowd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElOXKt0v7-A Don`t worry! Be happy!
2011 One cool joke from Molly: One day, Little Red Riding Hood is walking through the woods. She’s picking flowers when suddenly she sees the wolf in a bush. “My! What big eyes you have, Mr Wolf!” she says. The surprised wolf jumps up and runs away. A little further into the woods, Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again. This time he’s behind a tree. “My! What big ears you have, Mr Wolf!” says Little Red Riding Hood. And once again the wolf jumps up and runs away. Finally, about ten minutes later, the Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again. This time, he is behind a rock. “My! What big teeth you have, Mr Wolf!” says Little Red Riding Hood. At which point the Big Bad Wolf jumps up and screams: “Will you please leave me alone! Can’t you see that I’m trying to go to the toilet?!”

Serdar 2 Опубликовано 30 июня, 2011 my lovely song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hZSTIWiua8 LESLEY GARRETT MEMORY LYRICS Midnight Not a sound from the pavement Has the moon lost her memory? She is smiling alone In the lamplight The withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan Memory All alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days I was beautiful then I remember the time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again Every streetlamp Seems to beat a fatalistic warning Someone mutters And the streetlamp gutters And soon it will be morning Daylight I must wait for the sunrise I must think of a new life And I musn't give in When the dawn comes Tonight will be a memory too And a new day will begin Burnt out ends of smoky days The stale cold smell of morning The streetlamp dies, another night is over Another day is dawning Touch me It's so easy to leave me All alone with the memory Of my days in the sun If you touch me You'll understand what happiness is Look A new day has begun
