I've just seen all your photos: they're terrific! I liked everything: ancient cathedrals, fountains, statues and monuments, especially the monument to Dante.

The view of the mountains in San-Marino is really breathtaking!

Poor Pompeii! It's really ruined but something is left.

what is your favourite pasta sause? I don't know. In Italy there are a lot kinds of souses. All that gave for eating was nice.

Serdar is standing at the entrance of the famous Art Museum in Rome.

He is studying his guide-book and talking to the doorkeeper.

 

- Tell me, - Serdar says to the doorkeeper, - is this famous ancient vase still here? (Shows its photo in the guide-book)

- Yes, sir.

- And the table that costs $10.000?

- Yes, sir.

- And have you still that portrait of Charles I by Vandyck?

- Oh yes, sir, - answers the doorkeeper, - they are all here. Won't you come in and see them?

- No, I won't. I have no time to lose, - replies Serdar. - As they are still here and I have seen them in me guide-book, I can go on visiting other castles and museums. Thanks.

 

And he hurries away.

A blonde and a brunette are in a bar. There is a TV there and they are watching news about a man who is about to commit suicide.

- I bet on 20 euro that he will jump,- says the brunette.

- Ok. I am sure that he won’t jump, - says the blonde.

The guy in the news jumps. The blonde gives 20 euro to the brunette.

The brunette says:

- I can’t take the money, I knew he would jump. Actually, I already saw this block of news at 17 o’clock.

Thank you for your links, but I don't use "v kontakte" at all as I don't need it.

 

Like many people in this forum I prefer to be incognito. The reason why I do it is very simple. I have been living in Pushkino all my life. I know a great many people and I wouldn't like them to recognize me when they read my posts.

 

I have nothing to conceal from you though. I'm an ordinary Russian woman of typical European appearance. My first name is Lucy. (The letters LG stand for my initials).

I'm an English teacher. My age is a secret but I have a grown-up daughter. You can see my photo on the avatar. I've chosen it out of hundreds because it shows my personality in the best way...
