No one knew they were married because the wedding took place in Las Vegas when they came there for the weekend. At first they both gambled heavily, then drank, and then got married. "I wish i were a captain on a ship," he thought. "Then I could have a wife in every port" (I'll add from myself: Men...) Jack so has strongly plunged into memories that has not heard at once as Natasha calls him. he has answered without having become puzzled - We will go to Colorado, as soon as I earn money to pay for our trip.

In the evening when they were back a surprise was waiting for them…Natasha’s mother. Without any greetings she looked at Jack, her eyes flickered. - Can he dig potatoes? - Mum, don’t start. - He is skinny, I don’t think he can. Can he plough? - Again your dacha! - Yes, I told you many times I need a helper in the garden. But if he is an American I think he will do with those Colorado bugs. (chuckling) As all this was said in Russian Jack didn’t understand a word. He stood there like an idiot. The only word he understood was Colorado. - Yes, yes, i am from Colorado! "- He is skinny, I don’t think he can. Can he plough? " And then she has thought inside herself mind: - Small louse but painfully bite. * As Jack was the cultural person he acquainted with Natasha's mum and has politely invited her to Colorado. He was surprised when Natasha has translated that they will visit Colorado with great pleasure . Natasha did know yet that JAck has a family on his homeland. There are waiting for him 2 small children and his nice and clever wife

I had not inspiration. Lady LG according to the words except and besides you are right as always Some notes: the words we often mix up: except - кроме, за исключением. Everybody passed the exam except John. besides - кроме того, вдобавок "And now, my darling," Natasha continued, "it's time to talk on business matters. Your idea of opening a new English school sounds great! You're a native speaker and people will pay a lot of money for your lessons." "Yes," Jack nodded. He felt pleased and important. "Let's start right now. We should advertise our project and we'll do it through the Internet. Where is your notebook? Tell me your nick and password and it'll take me ..." "No," interrupted Natasha and shook her head doubtedly, "I'm afraid we can't advertise anything in the forum. It's forbidden. Our moderators, especially Banner, are very strict. We'll be banned at once. We had better put an advertisement in our local paper, "Puskinski Vestnik." - Oh, I think no one reads this newspaper - said Jack. Except grandmothers, which are interested in other things. I have one remarkable idea - Maybe I will start to stydy English with your friends at the same time I will get acquainted with them. We may begin now. Open your Icq and write it to your friends. At this moment Natasha understood - if she opens her Icq he will know a lot of new things about her . She tried to find an excuse "I wish I could do that," the girl said, "but I'm afraid I can't. There's no connection with the Internet today. "Azimut" isn't working." Jack -Let me see , I will check maybe there is some other problem in your internet connection . Natasha stood in frenzy without knowing what to tell. At least she find the decision. My dear I think you are so hungry. They had supper and have gone for a walk

Lady LG Yes you are right

I think "lucky escape" means that the motorist didn't collide with another car. Peter wasn't injured though he crashed into a tree. Your answer is right, Самира! " "....wet roads and winds" Unfortunately you're mistaken, Самира. The tourist didn't understand the farmer because his translation was like yours. Try again! Good luck! The problem is that I understand - my translation is not right, but I do not know the real right translation
-
maybe winds I did not understand where is the lucky escape if he anyway crashed into the tree

"Я думаю он сумашедший" "Он сказал что они съели что смогли и что не смогли тоже " Lady LG PS thanks I have no choice

Lady LG "Эх, лапти мои, четыре оборки, Хочу — дома заночую, хочу — у Егорки." "Oh, my boots, two pairs of laces, You have been to many places! Tell me, will it be all right If I spend with George the night?" See you soon! Serdar My version: My beauty shoes Four sides inside I want to use All time tonight I’ve never time And life is lost My home is fine But Jorge's (is) closed I am delighted with your abilities to rhyme !!!!

The "he" puzzle: Name an English word of more than 2 letters that both begins and ends with the letters 'he' (in that order). (Actually, there are two possible correct answers -- and "hehe" is not an acceptable solution.)
