The woman can't be happy. She isn't allowed to see her adorable son. The book has a tragic end. The woman commits suicide.

 

Find a misprint:

 

The text below contains a mistake where one letter is missed. For example, if the word should be box it is printed as ox.

 

"The river Oxten burst its banks after three days of heavy rain. A wave of water one metre high swept across fields of wheat, corn and vegetables before it hit the village of Crindle.

Correct is “Flood” instead of “food”.

 

“three people were killed by the food” sounds really funny, but I guess it can also happen somehow.
